Connon Digital Video is a wedding video production business based in Youghal, Co. Cork.

Using broadcast quality cameras and digital editing, we produce a quality product which will remain a permanent record of your special day

Our basic wedding package includes:
* Edited DVD copy (approx 1-1¼ hr)
* Master copy of all footage (approx 3hrs)
* Highlight DVD copy (approx 5 mins)
* CD of still photographs from video

This service is run by husband and wife team, James and Jo Connon. James is cameraman and chief editor. He will meet with you before your wedding to discuss details of what you would like included in your edited DVD. You have the option of inserting pictures or video from your childhood or occasions in your life to date (e.g. engagement, first meeting place etc.) You can choose your own style & individual music tracks or if you prefer you can leave music choice to the editor.

On the day, James will join you at the preparation stage in the brides house (if desired by the couple). He will then rush to the church ahead of the bridal party to capture the mood of the groom and his bestman and the guests arriving for the ceremony. The entire ceremony will be recorded, including the signing of the register. Guests will be captured again exiting the church and congratulating the newly weds. James will then accompany the wedding party to the photography session and capture the interactions between the party which are missed in still photography. Again he will depart slightly ahead of the crowd in order to reach the hotel in time to film the bride and groom arriving and champagne reception, if available. Inside the hotel some footage will be taken of the final preparations in the reception room. The bride and groom will then be filmed entering the reception and James will then discretely remove himself to allow you and your guests eat your meal. Following the meal, the speeches will be recorded and finally the first dance and a selection of other dances will be captured. James usually concludes filming at approximately 11p.m.
(You will appreciate that the above is only a sample description of a typical wedding day for CDV, but each wedding is individual and some areas will vary due to circumstances on the day)
